Keshav Maurya Predicts Opposition Will Remain Out of Power Until 2047

Agra, June 7: Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has launched a sharp political attack on the opposition. During a review meeting in Agra, he asserted that the public has rejected the opposition’s politics and predicted that they would remain out of power until 2047.

Maurya also warned officials that any negligence in implementing the welfare schemes of the central and state governments would not be tolerated. He criticized the opposition’s alliances and meetings, stating they serve not the public interest but rather their own political survival. He claimed that the public has dismissed the negative politics of the opposition.

During his visit to Agra, the Deputy Chief Minister held a high-level review meeting with public representatives, BJP officials, and senior administrative officers at the Circuit House. The meeting focused on reviewing development works, law and order, and the implementation of government schemes.

Maurya emphasized that the goal of the Bharatiya Janata Party is not just to win elections but to translate the commitment to good governance and upliftment into reality. He instructed officials to ensure that all welfare schemes of the double-engine government are implemented transparently and that eligible beneficiaries receive timely benefits.

He stated that any delay or negligence in the implementation of any scheme would not be accepted. Maurya particularly stressed the importance of preserving and beautifying water bodies developed under the Amrit Sarovar scheme, directing that they become centers of attraction for local residents.

He urged the completion of construction and repair works under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) before the onset of the monsoon. Additionally, he called for an intensified awareness campaign to economically empower women through self-help groups.

Maurya advised officials to maintain regular communication with public representatives and promote innovation in development works. He warned that strict action would be taken against officials who neglect the resolution of public issues, ensuring accountability at all levels.
