
Bengaluru, September 4 (Daily Kiran) : The Karnataka government has introduced a new logo for its ‘Bharat Jodo’ initiative, aimed at fostering unity and responsible citizenship among the youth. Deputy Chief Minister G. Parameshwara unveiled the logo on September 4 in Bengaluru. Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar described the logo as a representation of the collective aspirations and spirit of unity among the people of the state.
The logo was selected through a participatory process that received 255 entries from across Karnataka. This initiative was launched to create a distinctive visual identity for the program, encouraging youth involvement in nation-building and promoting civic responsibility.
To ensure a transparent and professional selection process, the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath was tasked with evaluating the submitted designs. After thorough assessment, two designs were shortlisted and presented to Deputy Chief Minister Parameshwara for final approval.
The final logo was crafted by creatively merging the key elements and concepts from the shortlisted designs, resulting in a unique and meaningful visual identity for the ‘Bharat Jodo’ initiative. Parameshwara, who oversees the sports department, officially unveiled the logo, marking a significant milestone in the program’s launch in Karnataka.
The new logo encapsulates the primary objectives of ‘Bharat Jodo,’ which include unity, solidarity, youth participation, and the collective strength of the people of Karnataka. In response to the launch, CM Shivakumar emphasized that the logo is not merely a visual symbol but a representation of the hopes and aspirations of the people.
Sharing the announcement on the social media platform X, Shivakumar noted that the final identity was crafted through a participatory process, incorporating ideas from the shortlisted designs. He stated that the ‘Bharat Jodo’ initiative is embarking on a new journey in Karnataka, one that belongs to everyone.
The Chief Minister reiterated that the goal of this initiative is to unite the youth, promote responsible citizenship, and inspire active participation in nation-building. He highlighted that the involvement of the public in the logo design process helped create an identity that reflects collective thoughts and a spirit of unity.
