New Delhi, June 13: Good news for those seeking employment at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. The institute has announced job openings for various positions under a project appointment scheme. A total of five positions are available for eligible citizens of the country, as per the official notification released on their website. These appointments will be on a contract basis, which can be extended annually or for the duration of the project.
The five vacancies include two Program Coordinators, two Project Managers, and one Senior Project Assistant (Technical). The online application process began on June 11, and the deadline to apply is set for June 25. Candidates interested in these positions can submit their application forms by 5 PM on the final date.
For the Program Coordinator positions, applicants must hold a PhD in a relevant field with first-class performance in their previous degrees. They should also have at least ten years of teaching, research, or industrial experience. Alternatively, outstanding scientists, engineers, technologists, or practitioners with a first-class postgraduate degree and a minimum of 15 years of experience in the industry can apply.
Candidates for the Project Manager role should possess an MBA in Finance along with a B.Tech or M.Tech degree in Engineering or Science. They must have at least eight years of relevant work experience in an educational institution or organization, including a minimum of five years in senior management.
For the Senior Project Assistant (Technical) position, candidates need to have a graduate degree in Commerce and an MBA in IT. They should also have five years of experience in organizing meetings or examinations, and/or substantial experience working in a reputable educational institution or business organization. Knowledge of digital marketing and publication tasks, such as newsletters and social media materials, is also required.
Selection of qualified candidates will be based on shortlisting, interviews, and document verification, considering their academic qualifications and experience. The monthly salary for selected candidates will range from ₹47,790 to ₹2,16,660, along with additional benefits and allowances.
