Patna, February 14: JD(U) leader Neeraj Kumar has asserted that India will triumph once again in the T20 World Cup match against Pakistan, scheduled for February 15 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

In a conversation in Patna, Kumar emphasized that sports should not be politicized. “We hope for a victory that will once again raise the Indian flag,” he stated.

Addressing comments made by MP Pappu Yadav regarding threats to his life, Kumar remarked, “Those who do not recognize the ‘chaddi gang’ of politics are threatened by Lawrence Bishnoi. When Pappu Yadav faces jail time, he resorts to theatrics. He pretends to be incapacitated, yet boards planes without a wheelchair when heading to Delhi. These are individuals who engage in political deception.”

Regarding the inauguration of the Prime Minister’s Office’s new building, ‘Seva Tirth,’ Kumar noted that the choice of words reflects a sentiment of service. He stated that the renaming of the office is significant not only for Prime Minister Modi but also sends a message to all in power to focus on service rather than personal gain.

On the Enforcement Directorate’s recent actions in Patna, Kumar praised their efforts, expressing hope that the properties of corrupt individuals, acquired through crime, will be seized and repurposed for orphanages.

Commemorating the seventh anniversary of the Pulwama attack, Kumar expressed that the day is painful for the nation. He highlighted that the attack challenged India’s military strength, but the brave Indian army responded effectively. “The world recognizes that India follows a policy of peace, while Pakistan harbors terrorism,” he added.

In response to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s remarks about Avimuktanand, Kumar stated that Shankaracharyas are vital figures in the Sanatan religious tradition. He noted that the political implications of the controversy during the Magh Mela should not be overstated, and that experts should provide their opinions on the matter.

On the India-U.S. trade agreement and Rahul Gandhi’s statements, Kumar criticized Gandhi for politicizing the issue by focusing on farmers. “Farmers in this country are sensitive and have a deep connection to the land. The history of farmers’ struggles is rich, from Swami Sahajanand Saraswati to Chaudhary Charan Singh. Misinformation should not be allowed to mislead them. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has rightly pointed out that if Rahul Gandhi makes allegations, they should be fact-based. Spreading misleading information is a new vice in opposition politics,” Kumar concluded.
