
New Delhi, August 10: Millions of young people in India aspire to secure government jobs. If you are one of them, a fantastic opportunity has emerged. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has announced openings through its ISRO Centralized Recruitment Board (ICRB) for a total of 92 positions for Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Group ‘A’ Gazetted Post) and Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Non-Gazetted Post) across its various centers, units, and autonomous bodies. The last date to apply is set for August 17.
Among the 92 vacancies, there are 34 positions for Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Electronics), 26 for Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Mechanical), 13 for Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Computer Science), 10 for Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Civil), 4 for Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Electrical), 2 for Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning), 2 for Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Architecture), and 1 for Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Civil) in an autonomous body (PRL).
The online application process has already begun, and candidates wishing to apply for these positions can submit their registration forms on ISRO’s official website before or by the final date of August 17.
Applicants must hold a relevant BE/BTech, graduation, or equivalent degree from a recognized institution or university with a minimum of 65% marks. Additionally, candidates are required to possess a valid GATE score.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 28 years, calculated based on the application deadline. However, candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on their valid GATE scores, with selected candidates receiving a salary of ₹56,100 per month according to Pay Matrix Level 10, along with other benefits and allowances.
When filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is ₹250 for General/OBC/EWS categories. Women candidates, as well as those from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), are exempt from the registration fee.
