
New Delhi, August 29: The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – University Grants Commission (CSIR-UGC) has officially announced the results of the National Eligibility Test (NET) for June 2026. Candidates eagerly awaiting the final answer key can now check their results.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the final answer key on Saturday, following which the results for the joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 examination have been made available. Candidates can access their results on the official NTA website.
To check the CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 results, candidates should first visit the NTA’s official website. After reaching the homepage, they need to click on the link that states, “Results for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination held in June 2026.” A new page will open where candidates must enter their application number, password, and security pin. The results will then be displayed on the screen. After checking the results, candidates are advised to download their mark sheets and keep a printed copy for future reference.
The NTA conducted the joint CSIR-UGC NET examination on July 17 and 18 across 224 cities in India. The exam covered five subjects: Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, and Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean, and Planetary Sciences. Out of 187,739 registered candidates, 150,057 appeared for the computer-based test (CBT).
It is important to note that the NTA had invited objections regarding the provisional answer key and recorded responses from August 16 to August 18 at 11 PM. The received objections were verified by experts, and the results were processed based on the final answer key prepared by these specialists.
