AAI Recruitment: Apply for 205 Apprentice Positions, Know Eligibility and Selection Process

New Delhi, August 30: The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has announced a total of 205 vacancies for Graduate/Diploma and ITI apprentices for the year 2026-27 at various airports in the northern region.

Among the 205 apprentice positions, there are 80 for graduates, 65 for diploma holders, and 60 for ITI candidates. The graduate positions include 15 in Civil Engineering, 10 in Electrical Engineering, 10 in Electronics, 15 in Computer Science/IT, 5 in Aeronautical/Aerospace/Aircraft Maintenance, 5 in Architecture, 10 in Mechanical/Automobile, and 10 for BCA/BCom graduates.

For diploma apprentices, the 65 vacancies consist of 17 in Civil Engineering, 15 in Electrical Engineering, 11 in Electronics, 7 in Computer Science/IT, 4 in Aeronautical/Aerospace/Aircraft Maintenance, 5 in Architecture, and 6 in Mechanical/Automobile. The ITI apprentice positions include 50 for COPA/Steno and 10 for Computer Hardware and Networking.

The application process for all these vacancies has commenced online, with the last date to apply set for September 16. Interested candidates can complete their registration through the BOAT/RDAT web portal for Graduate/Diploma apprentices and NAPS for ITI trades at the Airports Authority of India – RHQ NR, New Delhi, before the deadline.

Candidates applying for the Graduate/Diploma apprentice positions must possess a full-time (regular) four-year degree in the relevant engineering stream or a three-year (regular) diploma. For ITI apprentice positions, candidates must hold an ITI/NCVT certificate in the relevant trade.

The minimum age for applicants is set at 18 years, while the maximum age is 26 years, calculated based on the application deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.

Selection of eligible candidates will be based on application scrutiny, shortlisting according to educational qualifications, interviews, document verification, and medical fitness. Selected candidates for Graduate apprentice positions will receive a stipend of ₹15,000, while those chosen for Diploma apprentice positions will earn ₹12,000, and ITI apprentice candidates will receive ₹9,600 per month.
