Investigation Launched into Ram Temple Donation Irregularities

New Delhi, June 15: An investigation into alleged irregularities in donations to the Ram Temple has been initiated with the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT). The inquiry is already underway, sparking controversy. Siddharth Bhardwaj, the secretary of the Kalkaji Temple in Delhi, stated that they condemn any irregularities associated with the Ram Temple.

In an interview, Bhardwaj emphasized the significance of the Ram Temple as a sacred site for people worldwide. He expressed dismay at any potential scams or misconduct linked to such a revered place.

He noted that the SIT has been established and expressed hope for swift justice and the revelation of the truth. “This is a matter of faith for Hindus. The souls of many are connected to the Ram Janmabhoomi. Those involved in any wrongdoing should face severe consequences to send a clear message about the repercussions of such actions,” he said.

Bhardwaj further mentioned that a letter has been sent to the court, and he remains optimistic about receiving justice. He trusts both the judiciary and the Yogi government, as this issue is deeply tied to the faith of millions.

It is important to note that the controversy surrounding the Ram Temple donations has reached the Supreme Court. Advocate-on-record Anup Prakash Awasthi has filed a petition requesting the Supreme Court to consider ordering an independent investigation by a major agency like the CBI under its direct supervision.

The petition highlights growing concerns among devotees, both domestically and internationally, regarding alleged irregularities, misappropriation, or missing funds related to donations for the Ram Temple. It further states that although the Uttar Pradesh government has formed an SIT, the lack of a formal criminal investigation and FIR raises questions about the institutional response to this matter.
