Indore Police Rescues Two Abducted Boys Within Hours, Four Arrested

Indore, April 25: Indore police successfully resolved a shocking child abduction case on April 23, rescuing two minor boys and arresting four suspects within hours. Authorities revealed that the suspects plotted this crime following significant losses in the stock market.

The swift operation, conducted under the jurisdiction of the Palasia police station, brought relief to the families of the children and the public, who were in panic over their sudden disappearance.

Panic spread in Indore on the night of April 23 when two minor boys went missing from Tirupati Garden in Lala Ram Nagar. Their sudden absence left both their families and the police in distress, but the Madhya Pradesh police managed to rescue them within five hours.

According to officials from the Palasia police station, the incident was reported around 8:45 PM, prompting an immediate investigation. The boys, residents of Geeta Nagar and Khatik Mohalla, had gone to play in the garden as usual but did not return home.

CCTV footage showed a young woman luring the boys with chips, candy, and pictures of pets on her mobile phone. Shortly after, the complainant received a ransom call demanding 1.5 million rupees for the boys’ safe release, along with threats of severe consequences.

Senior police officials confirmed that joint teams were formed under their guidance, deploying personnel at hotels, bus stands, railway stations, and other public places. Technical surveillance and analysis of CCTV footage helped track the suspects to an apartment in Datt Nagar, approximately 15 kilometers from the crime scene.

The area was cordoned off, and the suspects were apprehended while attempting to flee during a coordinated operation. Both boys were safely rescued.

The arrested individuals were identified as Radhika Prajapati, Tanisha Sen, Lalit Sen, and Vineet Prajapati, with Radhika and Vineet being siblings.

During interrogation, the suspects admitted to planning the children’s abduction after incurring losses in the stock market. Police officials reported that the gang had been scouting the area for two days prior to the incident and had previously taken one boy to a flat.

Investigators discovered that after abducting the boys, the female suspect took them to a flat in Rajendra Nagar, recorded videos of them, and later fed them vermicelli made with milk when they asked for food.

The mobile phones used in the crime have been seized, and legal action has commenced against all four suspects. Police confirmed that the rescued boys were taken to MY Hospital for medical examination and were later reunited with their families, bringing relief after hours of fear and uncertainty.
