India’s Battlefield Vision Campaign Concludes After 3,400 Kilometers

New Delhi, February 25: The Chief of Army Staff, General Upendra Dwivedi, officially concluded the ‘India Battlefield Vision Campaign’ on Wednesday. This extensive journey covered approximately 3,400 kilometers, traversing several significant battlefields and frontline areas in Gujarat and Rajasthan.

During the expedition, the team crossed challenging terrains such as the Rann of Kutch and the Thar Desert. The campaign was organized under the leadership of the Indian Army‘s Regiment of Artillery. It showcased the developing road networks and connectivity in various remote regions of the country.

Notably, several routes are crucial for both military preparedness and the convenience of border residents. The event, held at the National War Memorial in New Delhi, was attended by numerous senior military officials and dignitaries.

According to the Ministry of Defence, the campaign aimed to connect people with the country’s historic battle sites and border areas. It also sought to raise awareness among the younger generation about the sacrifices made by soldiers.

The Army Chief emphasized that such initiatives keep the glorious history of the nation alive and inspire youth to serve the country. The campaign commenced on February 3 from the coastal city of Dwarka in Gujarat. It involved a total of 35 members, including personnel from the artillery regiment, the Indian Navy, and the Border Security Force.

Along the journey, the military team paid tribute to martyrs at key war memorials on the western front. They engaged with Veer Naris, veterans, National Cadet Corps cadets, students, and residents of border areas. At every stop, local administration and citizens warmly welcomed the campaign team.

This conveyed a message of deep trust and respect between the soldiers dedicated to the nation’s security and the citizens. Defence experts noted that the successful conclusion of the India Battlefield Vision Campaign reflects the Indian Armed Forces’ commitment to honoring their heroic past while connecting with the present. Furthermore, they are conveying a message of a secure, united, and empowered India to future generations.
