Kupwara, June 27: The Indian Army has inaugurated a Study Hub and Skill Development Center in Machil, Kupwara district. This center offers facilities for IT, vocational training, and a library. The local community is thrilled with this initiative and has praised the Army’s efforts.
A local woman expressed her gratitude, stating, “I am very thankful to the Indian Army. There was nothing here before. Now we have a carpet weaving center, computers, and other facilities, allowing us to learn new skills. Traveling from Machil to Kupwara used to take a long time, and my family wouldn’t allow me to go. With this initiative, we have many learning opportunities.”
Another young woman added, “We are very grateful to the Indian Army for establishing a computer center, a carpet weaving center, and several other facilities. Previously, we had to go to Kupwara to learn these skills. Now, we can learn right here, and I am very happy about it.”
A young man mentioned, “The Indian Army has opened this center where our mothers, sisters, and other women can learn sewing and work. I am thankful to the Army for providing us with these facilities.”
A local resident shared, “I am from this village. As you saw at today’s inauguration ceremony, every segment of our society has been included, and efforts have been made to benefit everyone. The Army has also established a library here, complete with books and Wi-Fi facilities.”
Another local remarked, “The program inaugurated today is a great initiative. Our children will now have the opportunity to learn computers. They never imagined they would learn such skills here. I am grateful to the Indian Army for the work done for our children. They never thought they would have the chance to learn these skills. The Indian Army plays a significant role in our community.”
