
Berlin, June 13: Indian Ambassador Ajit Vinayak Gupta visited the ILA Airshow in Berlin on Friday, where he inaugurated the India Pavilion.
The Indian Embassy in Germany shared on social media, stating, “Ambassador Ajit Gupta inaugurated the India Pavilion at the ILA Airshow in Berlin. He engaged with representatives from Indian private defense companies and startups, including young women entrepreneurs. Notable companies like Dynamic Technologies, Paras, and Skyroot Aerospace were present.”
The embassy further noted that the ambassador met with various German companies working in aviation, defense, and space sectors, such as MTU-Rolls Royce, Airbus, Hensoldt, Liebherr, Quantum Systems, and Diehl.
Indian company Raife Amphiber showcased its latest drone at the ILA. The European Space Agency (ESA) also hosted a space pavilion at the airshow.
The ESA announced, “Under the theme ‘Space4Future,’ the European Space Agency welcomes visitors to the Space Pavilion at ILA Berlin International Air Show, Hall B, from June 10 to 14. Visitors will learn how space is shaping our future, from lunar exploration to climate monitoring, navigation, telecommunications, and European launchers.”
The European Council highlighted that clean aviation and other cutting-edge projects will be showcased at their booth. ILA Berlin stated, “In 2026, the European Commission is once again a strategic partner of ILA Berlin. This partnership strengthens Europe’s technological leadership and paves the way for the future of aerospace under the motto Airborne in Europe.”
The European Council added, “Let’s explore how we are transforming the skies with sustainable solutions, new technologies, and impactful research initiatives. Connect with experts directly involved in these projects and gain insights into innovations that are advancing the future of aviation.”
