New Delhi, August 23: BJP legislator Ram Kadam stated that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, India has transformed into a nation that retaliates against enemies by targeting terrorist bases in their territory. He emphasized that this is not the silent India of the Congress era. Kadam accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of lacking understanding of Sanatan Dharma, claiming that students were financially incentivized to attend a recent event in Pune.
Kadam remarked, “This is a changed India under Prime Minister Modi. If anyone attacks us, we are the India that enters enemy territory to destroy terrorist hideouts. Unlike during Congress’s time, when we silently endured attacks, we have repeatedly shown our strength to enemy nations. During the Pahalgam incident, we taught Pakistan a lesson under Operation Sindoor.”
He further criticized Rahul Gandhi’s grasp of Hindu Sanatan Dharma, alleging that attackers who came to India deliberately misrepresented Hindu scriptures to tarnish the religion’s image. Kadam asserted that their aim was to mislead Hindus about their own faith and incite them to adopt other religions. He pointed out that even the Valmiki Ramayana contains sections that some Hindus consider erroneous. Similarly, he claimed that the Manusmriti has been manipulated with misleading content. “Rahul Gandhi lacks the necessary understanding of these issues,” he added.
Kadam also targeted Gandhi’s ‘Students’ Echo’ program, stating, “Students were brought to Pune from across Maharashtra with financial incentives, and those who attended the event admitted this. How can you deny it? There is a significant difference between putting on a show for the public and genuinely winning their hearts.”
He praised Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for establishing a strong image across Maharashtra, particularly as a leader focused on infrastructure. “Wherever he goes, large crowds gather,” Kadam noted.
He concluded by highlighting Gandhi’s inconsistent behavior, especially regarding women’s bills in Parliament. “Whenever a bill related to women comes up, Rahul Gandhi’s approach changes. However, when he is among the people, he alters his stance upon seeing the crowd. This reflects his dual nature.”
