India Builds a Reliable Digital Bridge for the World: Jyotiraditya Scindia

New Delhi, March 4: Union Minister for Communications Jyotiraditya Scindia stated that India is not only creating a network for its 1.4 billion citizens but is also constructing a reliable digital bridge for the entire world. He made this remark during the inauguration of the India Pavilion at the Mobile World Congress 2026 held in Barcelona, Spain. This event is one of the leading global platforms for technology and telecommunications.

He emphasized that inspired by the philosophy of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,’ India believes that the goal of connectivity should be to empower humanity, strengthen partnerships, and promote shared prosperity. In a conversation with the media, the minister noted that while the world discusses the future of connectivity in the ‘IQ era,’ India stands at the intersection of intelligence and infrastructure, where connectivity meets capacity and innovation aligns with inclusion.

Scindia highlighted that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India’s telecom transformation is based on indigenous research and development, a reliable telecom ecosystem, Production-Linked Incentives (PLI), and deep integration into global value chains.

This year, over 40 Indian companies from the telecom sector participated in the India Pavilion, working in areas such as 4G, 5G, and emerging 6G technologies, Open RAN, optical and satellite communications, semiconductor design, AI-based network intelligence, cybersecurity, telecom software, and digital platforms. The increasing participation clearly indicates that global trust in India’s telecom capabilities and innovation ecosystem is continuously growing.

The minister toured various company stalls and interacted with representatives from companies like Anant Systems, XS Infosol Private Limited, Signalchip, RV Solutions, Neosoft Technologies, Selcom, C-DOT, and GX India. He praised these companies for their indigenous technologies and innovations, which contribute to making India self-reliant and competitive in the global telecom ecosystem.

According to the government, the strong presence of Indian innovators at the India Pavilion demonstrates India’s commitment to building secure networks, developing AI-based telecom infrastructure, promoting a reliable ecosystem, and increasing telecom exports globally.
