New Delhi, August 28: The Indian Air Force will send another C-130J aircraft to Nepal on Friday evening as part of its ongoing relief efforts. This will be the third relief aircraft dispatched to the country. Previously, on August 26, a C-130J aircraft delivered 10 tons of relief supplies from Hindan to Nepal. Following that, on August 27, a C-17 Globemaster aircraft transported 37.5 tons of aid to the region.
The upcoming flight will deliver essential supplies to the affected areas in Nepal. The Indian Air Force has been consistently supporting rescue and relief operations in the country following devastating and sudden floods. In response to the crisis, India has intensified its air operations to assist Nepal. The Air Force is continuously delivering relief materials and medical supplies to the region.
On Thursday, another C-17 transport aircraft took off to aid Nepal, carrying a total of 37.5 tons of relief supplies for the affected areas. The materials being sent include essential medicines and food items. Earlier, the Indian Air Force had dispatched 10 tons of crucial relief supplies and medical equipment via the C-130J aircraft to meet the immediate needs of flood-affected individuals.
The Indian Air Force has indicated that additional shipments of relief materials are being sent to Nepal using C-17 and C-130 aircraft.
