Amaravati, August 28: The Governor of Andhra Pradesh, S. Abdul Nazeer, and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu extended heartfelt wishes to the public on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
Governor Nazeer expressed his warm greetings, stating that Raksha Bandhan celebrates the sacred bond of love, affection, and mutual respect between brothers and sisters. He emphasized, “This festival reminds us of the importance of family values, care, security, and lifelong companionship. May this auspicious occasion strengthen the bonds of love and unity among families, bringing happiness, peace, and prosperity to all.”
Chief Minister Naidu also conveyed his Raksha Bandhan greetings. In a post on X, he remarked, “This festival, symbolizing the bond between brothers and sisters, may fill your life with joy, health, and happiness. On this occasion of Rakhi Purnima, my heartfelt wish is that it spreads light in your life and fills it with the bonds of love.”
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan also sent his wishes to women, stating, “On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, which symbolizes affection and bonds between siblings, I extend my warm wishes to all sisters.” He added, “Rakhi Purnima is an emotional symbol of the bonds, relationships, and responsibilities connected to the Indian family system. This festival promotes the spirit of brotherhood, honors women, and reassures them.”
He further stated, “On this occasion of Rakhi Purnima, we reaffirm the coalition government’s commitment to enhancing women’s safety and empowerment in the state. The coalition government is already successfully implementing initiatives like Deepam-2, which provides three free gas cylinders annually. Additionally, programs like Talli Ki Vandanam and Stri Shakti are also underway.”
The Jana Sena leader mentioned that the state is making continuous progress toward realizing the dream of developing tribal villages. Already, 426 tribal settlements have been connected by roads. Under the Adavitalu Bata Phase-2, the government has taken steps to further extend these roads.
Pawan Kalyan announced, “To protect tribal women from hereditary diseases like sickle cell anemia, we are establishing a special blood bank in Araku. On this occasion of Rakhi Purnima, we reaffirm our commitment to the upliftment and empowerment of girls and women.”
Former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy greeted women, stating, “Your love and affection are my greatest strength and provide me with immense courage. As a brother, I will always be grateful for the affection you shower upon me.” The YSR Congress Party leader wished that their lives be filled with happiness, love, strong relationships, and good health.
