ICMR-NIH Recruitment Alert: Walk-In Interviews for Multiple Positions on August 24

Jaipur, August 22: A golden opportunity is on the horizon for job seekers. The Indian Council of Medical Research – National Institute of Health Research (ICMR-NIHR) has issued an official notification inviting applications for project human resource positions under the ‘ADOPT’ initiative, aimed at accelerating the dissemination and operational promotion of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) in India.

The vacancies announced by ICMR-NIHR include one position for Project Research Scientist (Non-Medical), two positions for Project Research Scientist (Non-Medical), one Administrative Officer, and one Field Officer.

Candidates will be selected for these roles based on a walk-in interview, written exam, skill test, document verification, and the final merit list. The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹30,000 to ₹78,000, along with additional benefits and allowances.

The walk-in interview and written exam will take place on August 24 at the ICMR-NIHR office in Jaipur. Candidates are advised to report to the center between 9 AM and 10 AM. It is important to note that registration will also occur on the interview day, and applicants should bring a hard copy of the completed application form along with original and photocopies of all relevant documents.

The maximum age limit for applicants is set between 35 to 50 years, depending on the position, calculated as of the walk-in interview date. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.

Candidates participating in the walk-in interview must possess a Ph.D. in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology from a recognized institution for the Project Research Scientist-III (Non-Medical) role, along with five years of research and development/teaching experience in the relevant field. For the Project Research Scientist (Non-Medical) position, a Master’s degree in Life Sciences/MPH/MHA/M.Pharm (Master of Pharmacy)/Pharm D (Doctor of Pharmacy) is required, along with four years of experience in the relevant area.

The Administrative Officer role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with at least three years of experience in a government department/statutory or autonomous body/university/public sector undertaking, as well as proficiency in MS Office applications. The Field Officer position requires a graduate degree in Public Health and three years of work experience. Candidates should note that the appointment by ICMR-NIHR will initially be for one year, subject to extension as per rules.
