Tragic Car Fire Claims Life of Driver in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh

Barabanki, October 10 (Daily Kiran) : A tragic incident unfolded in the Safdarganj area of Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, on Saturday morning when a car suddenly caught fire while in motion, leading to the death of the driver, who was unable to escape.

The fire ignited around 6 a.m. near the Pyarepur Saidpur canal, approximately 33 kilometers from the district headquarters. The flames spread rapidly, engulfing the entire vehicle within minutes and leaving the driver with no chance of escape.

Firefighters and local police rushed to the scene upon receiving news of the incident. Despite their efforts, the fire had already consumed the car, and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has been identified as Pradeep Kumar, a resident of Pyarepur village in Barabanki. Authorities were able to confirm his identity through the vehicle’s registration number.

Reports indicate that Kumar was returning to Barabanki after dropping off passengers at the Lucknow airport when the fire broke out. At the time of the incident, he was the only person in the car.

Ajay Prakash Tripathi, the officer in charge of Safdarganj police station, stated that the body has been recovered, and legal proceedings are underway.

The sudden fire has raised numerous questions regarding its cause and why the driver could not escape. As of now, the exact reason for the blaze remains undetermined.

Police have initiated an investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident and the cause of the fire. Officials expect to release more information once the inquiry is complete.

The incident caused a stir in the area, with local residents gathering at the scene as emergency services attempted to extinguish the flames. The death of the driver has left the community in shock.
