IBPS Recruitment 2026: Applications Open for 6,715 Probationary Officer/Management Trainee Positions

New Delhi, July 1: A remarkable opportunity has emerged for youth seeking a career in the banking sector. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially announced the recruitment of eligible candidates for a total of 6,715 positions of Probationary Officers/Management Trainees under the Common Recruitment Process (CRP) across various banks.

The banks participating in this recruitment include Bank of Baroda with 1,900 positions, Bank of India with 500, Bank of Maharashtra with 1,100, Canara Bank with 1,500, Central Bank of India with 500, Indian Overseas Bank with 550, Punjab National Bank with 504, and Punjab & Sind Bank with 161 positions.

The online application process for these vacancies commenced on July 1 and will close on July 21. Candidates interested in applying for these positions can submit their registration forms on the official IBPS website before the deadline. Additionally, a correction window for candidates who make mistakes while filling out the application form will be available for two days after the registration process ends.

Applicants must possess a first-class graduation degree in any subject from a recognized institution or university, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the central government.

The minimum age for applicants is set at 20 years, while the maximum age is 30 years, calculated as of July 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.

Selection of eligible candidates will be based on an online preliminary examination (objective test), an online main examination (objective and descriptive), personality test, general interview, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹48,480 to ₹85,920, along with additional benefits and allowances. The preliminary examination is expected to take place in August.

While filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is set at ₹850 for general/OBC/EWS candidates and ₹175 for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
