Heavy Rain

Raipur, August 14 (Kiran News): The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast widespread and good rainfall across Chhattisgarh, including all districts of Bastar division and most areas of Raipur and Durg divisions, over the next two days. The prediction comes due to a low-pressure system over the northwest Bay of Bengal and an active monsoon trough, which are likely to bring light to moderate showers in several parts of the state on Thursday. The IMD has also warned of heavy to very heavy rain accompanied by thunder in some areas.
