Haryana Governor Emphasizes Holistic Development of School Children

Chandigarh, May 1: Haryana Governor Aseem Kumar Ghosh visited the Government Model Culture Senior Secondary School in Nuh and the PM-Shrie Government Senior Secondary School in Firozpur Namak village on Friday. During his visit, he stressed the importance of holistic development for school children.

He reviewed essential facilities at both institutions, including academic infrastructure, drinking water, sanitation, and electricity.

The Governor toured primary classrooms and interacted with students, encouraging them to study diligently and become responsible citizens.

Addressing parents and students after the visit, he emphasized that holistic development is only achievable when parents and teachers work together in coordination.

He stated that education extends beyond textbooks, encompassing sports, health, discipline, and moral values, all of which are crucial for the overall development of students.

Governor Ghosh highlighted the importance of strengthening school infrastructure, prioritizing access to clean drinking water, proper sanitation, and sports facilities.

He mentioned that the government is continuously working in this direction, with special budget provisions made to enhance these facilities.

On this occasion, the Governor announced grants of 1 million rupees each for both schools to improve student amenities.
