Greater Noida, February 25: In a swift response to the high-profile Nitin murder case in the Ecotech First police station area of Greater Noida, authorities have arrested three suspects so far. However, one other suspect, Sachin, remains at large, and police teams are actively pursuing leads to apprehend him.
Police officials have assured the public that the fugitive will be captured soon. According to reports, Nitin, son of Fire, was shot dead on February 24, 2026, in the village of Luxar. The incident sent shockwaves through the community. Recognizing the seriousness of the situation, the Ecotech First police promptly formed special teams to track down the suspects.
During the investigation, local intelligence and confidential information revealed that one of the accused, Monu, son of Sukveer, was hiding in the village of Puari. Upon receiving this information, the police team quickly surrounded the area. During the operation, Monu fired at the police with the intent to kill. In the ensuing exchange, Monu was injured by police gunfire.
Authorities recovered an illegal .315 bore pistol, two live .315 bore cartridges, and one spent cartridge from the wounded suspect.
