Grand Love-Kush Park to Be Built in Ayodhya with ₹17.72 Crore Investment

Ayodhya, May 24: A unique initiative is set to elevate tourism and cultural heritage in the sacred city of Ayodhya. Under the state’s Smart City Mission, a grand Love-Kush Park will be constructed near the Mauchivala MRF Center on the Raebareli Highway, with an investment of ₹17.72 crore. This park will be themed around ‘Art from Waste,’ bringing to life the legendary tales of the Ramayana through sculptures made from scrap metal, artistic paintings, and interactive installations.

The primary aim of this park, being developed by the municipal corporation, is to integrate environmental conservation, sustainable development, and cultural preservation. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision for a smart city will receive a new dimension through this project. Municipal Commissioner Jaiendra Kumar stated that the park will specifically focus on the stories of Lord Ram’s sons, Lav and Kush. These popular tales from the Ramayana will be presented through modern art, allowing future generations to connect with their mythological history.

This initiative is a significant step towards making Ayodhya a smart city under CM Yogi’s leadership. The city is already witnessing rapid development in infrastructure, cleanliness, and tourism facilities. The Love-Kush Park will further strengthen this growth. The ‘Art from Waste’ theme is the heart of this project. Waste and scrap materials from the city will be collected to create magnificent sculptures, models, and installations. Events such as the Ashwamedh Yagna, exile episodes, and other significant moments will be depicted through scrap metal sculptures.

Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in these stories through interactive installations. For example, the incident of Lav and Kush capturing horses will be showcased through a 3D model and a sound-light show. This park will not only be a visual treat but also educational. Special tours and workshops for school and college students will be organized to raise awareness about environmental conservation and waste management. It will demonstrate that waste can be a resource rather than a burden. Following religious sites like the Ram Temple, Hanuman Garhi, and Kanak Bhawan, the Love-Kush Park will become a new attraction for tourists.

Devotees connected to the Ramayana will find not only a spiritual experience here but also witness environmentally friendly development. The park will feature walkways, gardens, seating arrangements, modern lighting, and security facilities. This project will be a unique blend of public art, culture, and sustainable development. In an era where plastic and waste issues are escalating, the message of ‘Art from Waste’ from a sacred city like Ayodhya will inspire the entire nation.

Experts believe that such parks not only boost tourism but also strengthen the local economy. According to the municipal corporation, construction work will begin soon. The entire park will be built using eco-friendly materials. The design will blend traditional Ramayana styles with modern technology.

The Love-Kush Park will not only symbolize Ayodhya as a religious city but also as a beacon of cultural and environmental excellence. It will become a new hub for devotees, tourists, artists, and environmental enthusiasts, further enhancing the glory of Lord Ram’s city while showcasing the magic of ‘Art from Waste.’
