Good News for Youth: EIL Extends Deadline for 41 Associate Engineer Positions to July 7

New Delhi, July 1: There is exciting news for young job seekers aspiring to work at Engineers India Limited (EIL). The company has officially announced an extension for applications for various Associate Engineer positions, increasing the deadline to July 7.

EIL has released a notification regarding 41 vacancies for Associate Engineer roles. These include 5 positions for Associate Engineer Grade-II (Process), 5 for Associate Engineer Grade-II (SMED-II), 4 for Associate Engineer Grade-II (SMED-I), 1 for Associate Engineer Grade-II (Environment, Water, and Safety), 13 for Associate Engineer Grade-III (Process), 1 for Associate Engineer Grade-… (Electrical), 4 for Associate Engineer Grade-… (Instrumentation), 5 for Associate Engineer Grade-… (Piping), 1 for Associate Engineer Grade-… (SMMMS), and 2 for Associate Engineer Grade-… (Structural/General Civil).

The online application process began on June 16, with the initial deadline set for June 30. This has now been extended to July 7. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application forms on EIL’s official portal before the new deadline. This is the final opportunity to apply.

Candidates must hold a BE/BTech/BSc (Engineering) degree in relevant fields such as Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, Industrial Pollution Control, Electrical, Instrumentation and Electronics, Instrumentation and Control, or Integrated Dual Degree (Metallurgy/Materials/Corrosion) with a minimum of 60% or equivalent CGPI from a recognized institution or university. Additionally, candidates should have 5 to 9 years of relevant experience and meet other specified eligibility criteria.

The maximum age limit for Associate Engineer Grade-.. positions is set at 37 years, while for Associate Engineer Grade-… positions, it is 41 years, calculated as of May 31. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.

Selection of eligible candidates will be based on application screening and personal interviews. The monthly salary for selected candidates will range from ₹72,000 to ₹80,000 for Associate Engineer Grade-.. and ₹86,400 to ₹96,000 for Associate Engineer Grade-…, depending on the city and position level. Candidates will also receive additional benefits and allowances. The posting location will be in the National Capital Region (NCR).

EIL is expected to commence interviews on July 13. Interviews will be held at designated locations in Gurugram, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Vadodara.
