Beijing, June 27: The fourth China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), held in the capital city of Beijing, concluded on June 26 after a successful five-day run. During a press conference that afternoon, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) announced that several indicators from this year’s expo reached new historical highs.
The scope and exchange of this expo were broader than ever before. Over 1,200 exhibitors and supply chain partners participated, marking the highest number of companies in attendance to date. Additionally, the number of professional visitors increased by 22 percent compared to the previous session. A total of 70 theme-based business exchange activities were conducted during the expo.
According to CCPIT Vice President Li Xingqian, participating companies have established relationships with nearly 50,000 upstream, midstream, and downstream enterprises, surpassing the figures from the last session.
Li noted that this year’s CISCE symbolizes the beginning of the ‘Digital Intelligence Blockchain Expo’ era. The ‘Digital Technology Blockchain’ has been upgraded to ‘Digital Intelligence Technology Blockchain,’ and for the first time, an Artificial Intelligence zone was established. During the expo, 161 new products, technologies, services, and scenarios were showcased, along with 37 launch events held at the ‘CISCE Launch Station.’ The 2026 edition of the ‘Global Supply Chain Promotion Report’ and the Global Supply Chain Resilience Index Matrix were also officially released.
Before the conclusion of the fourth CISCE, a total of 115 Chinese and foreign companies and institutions signed letters of intent to participate in the fifth session, scheduled for next year. This figure represents a 12.7 percent increase compared to the previous session, with 20 companies committing to participate for three to five years.
