Flag Hoisting Ceremony at Maa Bhagwati Temple in Ayodhya: Sadhvi Ritambhara Calls for Empowering Indias Daughters

Ayodhya, May 30: The flag hoisting ceremony at the Maa Bhagwati Temple within the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra complex was marked by a powerful address from Sadhvi Ritambhara. She emphasized the importance of maternal strength while addressing various social issues.

Sadhvi Ritambhara expressed concerns over topics such as love jihad, cultural preservation, and cow protection. She urged that the daughters of India must become ‘Durga’ to safeguard their culture, faith, and traditions. During the event held on Friday, she highlighted the urgent need to explain the significance of being a woman in India to the current generation.

She stated that the responsibility of preserving values in families and society lies with women. It is essential to educate children about the importance of the sindoor (vermilion) worn on their foreheads.

“We must resolve that our daughters will not fall victim to love jihad. Every daughter needs to be empowered like Durga,” she asserted. Sadhvi emphasized the need to understand the difference between freedom and recklessness, stressing that maintaining the sanctity of Indian culture is crucial. She also prominently raised the issue of cow protection in her speech.

Sadhvi Ritambhara remarked that as long as even a single drop of blood from the cow mother disturbs the earth, society cannot afford to remain at ease. She called upon women to adopt the ideals of exemplary mothers like Kaushalya, Devaki, Anjani, and Sunaina. Referring to the Ram Janmabhoomi movement, she noted that after centuries of struggle and sacrifice, the reinstatement of Ram Lalla has finally occurred.

“Our ancestors fought for 500 years, and mothers sacrificed their sons. Today, the flag of that dedication flies at the Maa Bhagwati Temple,” she stated. Through poetry and powerful verses, she addressed the gathered crowd, saying, “If you love the country, you must say every moment, whether I am here or not, India must remain.”

Present at the event were Meenakshi Tai from the Rashtriya Sevika Samiti, Mahamandaleshwar Sadhvi Maitri Ji, National President of the Central Backward Commission Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, and Sadhvi Pragya Bharti, Secretary of the Sadhvi Council.

Earlier, Champat Rai, the General Secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, reported that thousands of women from Durga Vahini and various social organizations participated in the event, with approximately 4,000 maternal figures in attendance.
