Bhopal, May 14: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged citizens to conserve energy due to the ongoing conflict in West Asia. Many have responded positively to this call. However, the president of the Bhind district farmer’s unit in Madhya Pradesh, Sajjan Singh Yadav, organized a vehicle rally, disregarding this appeal. The BJP organization took this matter seriously and removed Yadav from his position.
Recently, PM Modi urged residents to reduce diesel and petrol consumption. In response, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has reduced his convoy size. Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla and Jagdish Devda have also returned their pilot and follow vehicles. State ministers and party officials have been instructed to take necessary actions to lower petroleum consumption in line with the Prime Minister’s appeal.
Meanwhile, under Yadav’s leadership, a vehicle rally took place on Wednesday, traveling from Gwalior to Bhind. This rally gained attention on social media and in newspapers, prompting the party organization to take it seriously.
Jaypal Singh Chawda, the state president of the farmer’s unit, has dismissed Yadav from his role, stating in a letter that the rally, which involved hundreds of vehicles from Gwalior to Bhind, was a blatant disregard for PM Modi’s appeal for energy conservation.
The state organization has classified this action as a serious breach of discipline. Following the directives of state president Hemant Khandelwal, Yadav’s appointment as district president of the farmer’s unit has been revoked.
