Faridabad, October 10 (Daily Kiran) : Security measures have been significantly heightened in Faridabad in anticipation of a protest organized by the Cockroach People’s Party (CJP) at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. Police forces have been deployed at all borders adjacent to Delhi to manage the situation effectively.
Authorities are conducting thorough inspections of vehicles heading to Delhi. A substantial police presence has also been established at the Faridabad railway station. As a result of the planned demonstration, several trains traveling to Delhi have been canceled, causing inconvenience for travelers.
In light of the protest, police have placed Congress party workers under house arrest. The administration is exercising extra vigilance to maintain law and order. Security at the Badarpur border between Delhi and Faridabad has been reinforced, with water cannons, tear gas equipment, ambulances, and fire engines on standby to handle any emergencies.
At the Badarpur border, vehicles heading to Delhi are being thoroughly checked before being allowed entry. Police teams are monitoring for any suspicious activities. The heavy police presence at Faridabad railway station aims to ensure safety, but the cancellation of trains to Delhi may complicate travel plans for many. Travelers are advised to check the status of their trains before leaving home.
Due to the heightened security measures, individuals traveling from Faridabad to Delhi via the Ali Mathura Road flyover are experiencing delays, as traffic has been halted by parked buses.
One individual heading to Badarpur reported that police checked both his ID and vehicle. Another traveler, Akash Gupta, expressed concern about the protest, suggesting that young people are being misled into participating. He stated, “There is no need for this protest,” adding that police had inspected his car thoroughly.
The administration remains focused on maintaining security and preventing any untoward incidents as the protest approaches. Travelers are encouraged to allow extra time for border checks.
