Indore, May 22: Following a ruling by the Madhya Pradesh High Court, Friday marks the first time prayers will not be held at Bhojshala. The complex is resonating with chants of “Jai Maa Vagdev,” as authorities have implemented stringent security measures. Superintendent of Police Sachin Sharma inspected the security arrangements at the site, accompanied by mounted police.
SP Sharma instructed officials and staff to remain vigilant. To maintain law and order, police patrols and surveillance have been intensified in and around sensitive areas.
He stated that in compliance with the High Court’s orders, over 1,800 police personnel have been deployed across Dhar district.
Sharma urged all citizens, religious leaders, and media members to maintain peace and cooperate with authorities. He emphasized that they have communicated with everyone involved and provided copies of the High Court’s orders to all parties. The police are committed to ensuring strict adherence to the directives.
Since morning, a large number of devotees have gathered at Bhojshala for worship. The administration is on high alert, with a significant police presence and dog squads deployed to monitor the area and its surroundings.
Dhar Collector Rajiv Ranjan Meena stated on May 21 that various appeals have been made to maintain peace and order in the district. In this spirit of commitment, a ‘foot flag march’ was organized, appealing to all communities. Adequate police forces have been stationed to ensure public safety.
The Collector also mentioned that appeals are being made through various channels. Authorities are closely monitoring social media platforms, and strict action will be taken against any incidents that arise.
