Kolkata, February 22: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has launched a strong attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. She stated that this time, Banerjee’s departure from office is certain in the upcoming assembly elections.
CM Rekha Gupta expressed her belief that the era of terror, corruption, and greed in Bengal politics is coming to an end. She emphasized that this election will bring about change in Bengal. The ongoing oppression of the people, the safety of women, and the rampant looting and arson have led the public to decide that it is time to bid farewell to Mamata Banerjee.
Addressing the issue of illegal immigration, CM Gupta remarked that no matter how hard Mamata Banerjee tries to hide behind intruders, she cannot silence the voice of the people. The public has made a decision, and change is imperative.
During her visit to Kolkata, CM Rekha Gupta offered prayers at the Kali Temple. In a social media post, she shared her experience of bowing before the divine presence of Goddess Kali at the sacred Kalighat temple. She described Goddess Kali as the embodiment of Bengal’s consciousness, culture, and inner strength. The temple is not just a place of worship but also a symbol of courage in struggle, patience in adversity, and faith in new beginnings. The chants of “Jai Maa Kali” resonate with Bengal’s unwavering devotion and self-respect. She prayed for the blessings of strength, peace, prosperity, and steadfastness on the path of righteousness for all.
In her post, the Chief Minister further stated that Goddess Kali inspires courage against injustice and stands for truth. Her blessings empower the creation of a system where appeasement is replaced by justice, fear by trust, and politics by public service. With the grace of the Goddess, the commitment to service, good governance, and the welfare of all citizens will be strengthened. Jai Maa Kali.
