Mumbai, July 22: On the birth anniversary of former Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, his wife and current Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar shared a heartfelt post on social media.
In her post on the platform ‘X’, Sunetra expressed her emotions, stating, “Dada, for many years, I celebrated your birthday with immense joy, enthusiasm, and pride. Our home would fill with happiness, and blessings would pour in. But today, as we commemorate your ‘Jayanti’, my heart feels utterly shattered. I still find it hard to accept this bitter truth.”
Sunetra continued, “Dada, you have been my greatest strength at every turn in my life. Your strong support, the comforting pat on my back during tough times, and your companionship have suddenly vanished. Everything feels so empty; I can hardly believe it. I never imagined that time would take away my biggest support so soon.”
She added, “Today, as I celebrate your birthday, my heart is filled with pain; my tears seem endless. Dada, even though you are not with me today, your thoughts, memories, spirit of service to others, discipline, and the love you gave will always live on in every breath I take and in every fiber of my being. I salute my life partner and your sacred memories with all my heart and respect!”
It is noteworthy that on this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Ajit Pawar and Jai Ajitdada Pawar paid tribute to the late leader by placing flowers at his memorial in the Vidya Pratishthan campus in Baramati at midnight. They recalled Ajit Pawar’s contributions to Maharashtra’s development, his social service, and dedication to the welfare of the people. They emphasized that Ajitdada Pawar’s vision, leadership focused on development, and legacy of service will continue to inspire future generations.
