New Delhi, July 22: Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to the social media platform ‘X’ on Wednesday to share an inspirational quote.
In his post, PM Modi included a Sanskrit verse: “परकार्येषु युक्तात्मा स्वकार्ये क्षिप्रसाधनम्. सुहृत्कार्येषु निर्वृत्ती राजकार्येषु विक्रमः..” The translation emphasizes that a person who dedicates themselves to the tasks of others, efficiently completes their own work, selflessly assists friends, and demonstrates valor in national duties is truly superior.
On Tuesday, the Prime Minister had also shared another insightful quote. He posted a Sanskrit verse: “एकाग्रताथ सङ्कल्पः स्नायुवद् वर्द्धनक्षमौ. नित्याभ्यासप्रयोगाभ्यामधिकाधिकमृध्यतः॥” This verse translates to the idea that concentration and determination are akin to our nervous system, which can be continuously developed and strengthened through regular practice and directed effort. Over time, these qualities become more robust and impactful.
Earlier on Monday, PM Modi had shared a quote stating, “Today, our young companions are achieving historic success through patience, self-confidence, and relentless hard work. This is the greatest strength of a developing India.”
He also shared another Sanskrit verse: “प्राप्यापदं न व्यथते कदाचिदुद्योगमन्विच्छति चाप्रमत्तः. दुःखं च काले सहते महात्मा धुरन्धरस्तस्य जिताः सपत्नाः॥” This translates to the notion that a person who remains undeterred in times of crisis, striving with patience and skill to overcome challenges, and who can endure suffering with ease, ultimately never faces defeat, but triumphs even in adverse circumstances.
