New Delhi, May 29: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the Delhi government has made a significant announcement aimed at facilitating students appearing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
On June 21, the day of the examination, all candidates will be able to travel for free on DTC buses to reach their respective centers. To avail of this service, candidates need only to show their valid NEET admit card to the bus conductor.
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta noted that due to the recent cancellation of the NEET exam, many students are required to retake the test. This situation naturally places additional mental, temporal, and financial stress on both the candidates and their families. Understanding these challenges, the Delhi government stands in solidarity with the students. The aim is to ensure that candidates do not face any transportation-related inconveniences on the exam day. Therefore, free travel on DTC buses will be available for all NEET candidates on June 21, allowing them to arrive at their exam centers on time and without added stress.
