The government has immediately directed the Delhi Development Authority, MCD, Delhi Fire Service, and DDMA to conduct special inspection campaigns in major coaching hubs such as Mukherjee Nagar, Rajendra Nagar, and Katwaria Sarai. Moreover, the MCD is required to submit daily action reports to the minister’s office to ensure continuous monitoring of the entire campaign.
The government also announced that the Directorate of Higher Education is developing a comprehensive and robust regulatory framework for coaching institutions. This proposed framework aims to strengthen safety standards, ensure accountability, and enhance the transparency of coaching operations.
