Strict Action Taken Against Negligent Employees in Singrauli Municipal Corporation

New Delhi, June 24: The Municipal Commissioner of Singrauli, Savita Pradhan, has adopted a firm stance against employees showing negligence in revenue collection and departmental tasks. During a revenue and departmental review meeting held at the municipal office, it was found that the progress in revenue collection was unsatisfactory. Consequently, the salaries of ten ward in-charges have been suspended until further notice.

In addition, two ward in-charges, Naval Kishore and Ashok Kumar Verma, were suspended immediately due to serious negligence. Furthermore, the probation period of two other employees has been extended by six months.

During the review meeting, the commissioner evaluated the performance of all ward in-charges and officials. Expressing dissatisfaction with the revenue collection status in several wards, she directed action against the responsible officials. The commissioner made it clear that negligence in duties will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

The commissioner also instructed the identification of illegal water connections in the city and the initiation of a special campaign against them. She emphasized the need to expedite the process of issuing trade licenses for commercial establishments and ensure timely resolution of complaints related to the overall ID, Samajik Suraksha Yojana, and CM Helpline.

Commending the employees Mo. Wakil and Vaibhav Goswami for their excellent performance in revenue collection, the commissioner urged all officials and staff to adopt a target-oriented approach and provide better services to citizens.

Present at the meeting were Deputy Commissioner R.P. Bains, R.B. Singh, and all ward in-charges.

After the meeting, Commissioner Savita Pradhan spoke to the media, stating that officials and employees are continuously being instructed to keep the city clean, beautiful, and organized.
