CR Keshavan Criticizes Rahul Gandhis Comments as Shameful Politics

New Delhi, August 14: BJP national spokesperson CR Keshavan has targeted the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, calling Rahul Gandhi’s remarks on foreign policy and comments about the Prime Minister shameful acts and examples of third-rate politics.

Keshavan stated, “Rahul Gandhi’s disgraceful stunt and his derogatory comments on the Prime Minister’s foreign policy reveal the declining mindset of Rahul Gandhi and the Congress leadership. His uncivilized and rude actions reflect the desperation of the Congress party.”

He advised Rahul Gandhi to account for the tenure of Jawaharlal Nehru before discussing foreign policy. Keshavan remarked, “If Rahul Gandhi wants to talk about foreign policy, he should first address the failures of Nehru, who served as Foreign Minister for 17 years.”

Keshavan accused the first family of Congress of refusing to return 51 cotton boxes containing letters written by Nehru to Edwina Mountbatten. He questioned, “Why is Rahul Gandhi and the first family of Congress shrouding these letters in secrecy? He should answer this first.”

Criticizing decisions made during Nehru’s government, Keshavan said, “Nehru made a mistake by raising the Kashmir issue internationally, while Prime Minister Modi revoked Article 370.”

He added, “Nehru betrayed the farmers by signing a one-sided Indus Water Treaty in favor of Pakistan, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi has suspended. Nehru lost 38,000 square kilometers of Aksai Chin, while under Modi’s leadership, we achieved a significant military victory through Operation Sindoor.”

Keshavan remarked that Rahul Gandhi has long polluted political discourse with his “vulgar statements.” He noted that due to Gandhi’s uncouth and undignified politics, the public has repeatedly rejected him. Today, Rahul Gandhi has become a significant burden on Indian politics.

He concluded that the level of politics in the country has declined due to Rahul Gandhi’s language and behavior, and the Congress party needs to engage in self-reflection regarding its political approach.
