Court Extends Police Custody of Four Suspected Terrorists for Four More Days

New Delhi, June 6: The Patiala House Court in Delhi has extended the police custody of four suspected terrorists, arrested for alleged links to Pakistan’s intelligence agency and organized crime networks, for an additional four days.

Previously, the suspects were in police custody for seven days. After this period, they were presented in court on Friday, where the investigating agency requested extra time for further questioning.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Ang Kami Lama, Harvinder Singh, Gagandeep Singh, and Manjeet Singh. Investigating agencies claim that they may be involved in planning terrorist activities across various parts of the country. Given the seriousness of the case, the court granted the agency an additional four days of police custody for further interrogation.

According to investigators, initial inquiries have revealed facts suggesting that the suspects were working on plans to target major cities in the country. Officials state that a thorough investigation into all aspects of the case is underway, and information is being gathered about potential networks and their contacts through questioning the suspects.

Sources indicate that the agencies are trying to determine whom the suspects were in contact with and whether others were involved in this alleged conspiracy. Additionally, electronic devices, communication records, and other evidence are being scrutinized.

Officials assert that the investigation is still in its preliminary stages, and all facts are being verified. Currently, the investigation into the charges against the suspects is ongoing, and final conclusions will only emerge after the investigation is complete and evidence is presented in court.
