Controversial Audio Involving Chittorgarh MLA Chandrabhan Singh Akya Sparks Outrage

Mumbai, March 16: A recent audio clip has gone viral, involving Chittorgarh MLA Chandrabhan Singh Akya and RTO inspector Sushil Upadhyay. The clip, which has not been officially verified, has ignited discussions in the political and administrative circles of Chittorgarh district, known for its transport department controversies.

Former MLA Surendra Singh Jadawat condemned the language used in the audio, stating that elected representatives should not resort to such behavior. He emphasized that if the audio is authentic, the way Akya allegedly threatened Upadhyay with abusive language is unacceptable and undermines democratic values.

Jadawat expressed concern over the incident, asserting that it is inappropriate for any representative to use derogatory terms towards a government employee. He suggested that if there were issues regarding the MLA’s vehicle being improperly fined, a formal complaint should have been made instead of resorting to threats and insults.

In the viral audio, a person identifying himself as Ravindra Bhutada discusses the possibility of fining the MLA’s vehicle with the RTO officer. When the officer mentions the need to pay the fine, the conversation escalates, leading to threats and abusive exchanges. The audio also includes claims of physical violence at the Gangrar toll plaza.

As of now, there has been no official statement from the officer involved, nor has MLA Chandrabhan Singh publicly responded to the controversy. This incident is not the first of its kind in Chittorgarh, as previous altercations between representatives and officials have also made headlines, including a notable incident involving Begun MLA Rajendra Singh Bidhuri and police officer Sanjay Gurjar.
