Mumbai, March 1: “It’s commendable, the way every task is performed, singing the song of UP, in the name of Yogi Ji.” This song is not just sung by the 250 million residents of the state but also by innocent children. From restoring the voice of Khushi in Kanpur to freeing Anjana’s house in Lucknow, and addressing the fee concerns of Pankhudi in Gorakhpur, CM Yogi Adityanath has taken on the responsibility of shaping the futures of many children, including Mayra from Kanpur, Vachi from Moradabad, Anabi from Lucknow, and Shivanshu and Ajay Kumar from Lakhimpur Kheri. There is a remarkable bond between the children and CM Yogi, who they eagerly wish to meet.
During his visit to Japan, excitement was palpable among children in Yamanashi to see and interact with CM Yogi. One young child began reciting the mantra “Karpur Gauram Karunavataram.” When the child stumbled on a line, the Chief Minister completed the mantra, boosting the child’s confidence and showering affection while emphasizing the importance of Indian culture and values. CM Yogi also recited the mantra “Gururbrahma Gururvishnu” with the children. As the children sought his blessings by touching his feet, he spread smiles by giving them chocolates.
In the hearts of 250 million residents, Yogi Adityanath symbolizes good governance, presenting a living image of public service and empathy. Criminals tremble at the mention of his name, while children effortlessly express their wishes in front of him. The innocence of these children often shines through; during a public interaction, a little girl saluted him, while another recited a poem, “We are lion children.” CM Yogi smiled and encouraged her to study diligently for a bright future. His love for children reflects his compassionate heart and commitment to public service.
CM Yogi’s emotional connection with children is evident in various instances. Recently, during a public interaction, he engaged with a girl named Anabi Ali who came with her mother. On Makar Sankranti, he asked a child at Gorakhnath Temple, “What else do you want?” The child’s innocent reply of “Chips” made him laugh heartily, showcasing his affection for children. During a trip to Uttarakhand, a child presented him with flowers, and he reciprocated with food items, which the child gave to his grandfather. CM Yogi affectionately told the child, “We are like your grandfather too.”
On Republic Day, children rushed to CM Yogi for photos, and he expressed paternal affection by holding a little girl in his arms. Upon noticing a group of children at a park near Gorakhpur Circuit House, he approached them warmly and distributed chocolates. In Gorakhpur, he even allowed some children to sit in his helicopter. His quick decisions regarding children’s futures demonstrate his sensitivity.
When Kanpur’s mute and deaf Khushi Gupta expressed her desire to meet him, CM Yogi understood her pain. After learning that she had walked to Lucknow, he invited her, accepted her drawings, and assured her a secure future. Under his directive, Khushi received treatment and can now communicate her “unsaid emotions.”
Anjana Bhatt, the daughter of a major, met the Chief Minister on December 31, 2025, to report an illegal occupation of her house. CM Yogi acted immediately, ensuring the house was freed and the perpetrators arrested within 24 hours. Through public interactions, he also facilitated school admissions for Anabi Ali from Lucknow, Mayra from Kanpur, and Vachi from Moradabad. He ensured that Pankhudi from Gorakhpur had her fees waived and was sent back to school, sending a strong message that all 250 million residents are his family.
During a public interaction, a cancer-stricken mother approached CM Yogi with her son’s plight. Moved by her suffering, he arranged for her son to be transported directly to Kalyan Singh Super Specialty Cancer Institute for treatment.
Two children from Lakhimpur Kheri shared their story during a public interaction. CM Yogi promptly directed the district administration to assist them. The administration enrolled the children in school and provided them with cash, food supplies, and CSR kits. Their mother had tragically passed away in an accident in 2018, and their father died during treatment, leaving them without resources for education. After meeting CM Yogi, their studies resumed, and their bright future was secured.
