CID Investigates Irregularities in Jharkhand Recruitment Exams

Ranchi, September 4 (Daily Kiran) : A special team from the CID is investigating alleged irregularities in recruitment examinations in Jharkhand. On September 4, the team visited the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) office in Namkum and interrogated Secretary Sudhir Gupta regarding the matter.

During their visit, the CID team scrutinized examination records and several crucial documents. Reports indicate that they discovered some OMR sheets and other significant papers related to the exams. However, the CID has not yet released official details regarding the quantity or nature of the documents recovered.

Before heading to the JSSC office, the CID team also conducted a search at Secretary Sudhir Gupta’s residence on Harihar Singh Road in Morhabadi, Ranchi. It is reported that they examined documents and electronic devices found at the home.

There has been no official confirmation regarding the search at the residence or any materials seized. The investigation aims to determine the level of alleged irregularities in the examination process and identify individuals involved.

The CID is currently matching the recovered documents and digital evidence with records related to the examination process. They are also looking into whether any unauthorized individuals had access to confidential materials, such as question papers, prior to the exams.

Sources suggest that further questioning of other officials and staff connected to the case may occur in the coming days. As of now, the CID has not issued a detailed official statement regarding the search at the Secretary’s residence, the inquiry at the JSSC office, or the alleged recoveries.
