Chirag Paswan Meets Nitin Nabin Ahead of Bankipur By-Election

Patna, July 28: In the lead-up to the Bankipur Assembly by-election, Chirag Paswan, the national president of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), met with Nitin Nabin, the national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), at his residence in Patna on Tuesday evening.

According to sources, the two leaders assessed the electoral situation ahead of the voting scheduled for July 30. Neither leader spoke to the media following their meeting, and details of their discussion were not officially disclosed.

Earlier in the day, Paswan and Nabin campaigned for Neeraj Kumar Sinha, the NDA-supported BJP candidate for the Bankipur seat.

Paswan conducted roadshows across the area and addressed several public meetings. While speaking at a rally in the Dujra area, he urged voters to support the BJP candidate by pressing the button next to the lotus symbol on July 30.

He expressed confidence in the enthusiasm and support shown by the people, indicating a strong resolve to ensure the lotus blooms once again in Bankipur.

Later, at another public meeting in Chandpur Bela, he reiterated his appeal for voters to support Neeraj Kumar Sinha. He encouraged voters to participate in large numbers and celebrate democracy enthusiastically.

“I urge all respected voters, especially women and youth, to cast their votes in large numbers. Every vote will strengthen the commitment to build a developed Bankipur and Bihar under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary,” he stated.

Nitin Nabin also addressed campaign rallies in the constituency, expressing confidence in the NDA’s victory.

During one of his speeches, he noted the visible enthusiasm among the people of Bankipur, indicating their strong support for development, good governance, and public service.

“I am confident that the love and blessings the people of Bankipur have always showered on me will now also be extended to Neeraj Kumar Sinha, who will diligently continue this journey of public service and development,” he added.

It is worth mentioning that the by-election in Bankipur is being held due to Nitin Nabin’s resignation from the assembly after being elected to the Rajya Sabha. Voting will take place on July 30, with the counting of votes scheduled for August 3.
