Mumbai, July 30: For those seeking employment, Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES) Limited has announced vacancies for 24 Assistant Manager (Mechanical) positions. This announcement was made through an official notification on their website. The vacancies include 12 for Unreserved (UR), 2 for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), 1 for Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL), 5 for Scheduled Castes (SC), and 4 for Scheduled Tribes (ST).
The online application process for the Assistant Manager (Mechanical) positions commenced on July 17 and will close on August 17. Candidates interested in applying can submit their registration forms on the official RITES Limited website before the deadline.
Applicants must hold a full-time Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Technology from a recognized institution or university. This can include specializations in Mechanical, Production, Production and Industrial, Manufacturing, Railway, Mechatronics, or Automobile Engineering, either in full or in part. Additionally, candidates should have at least two years of relevant experience post-qualification.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 32 years, calculated based on the application deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government regulations.
Selection of qualified candidates will be based on a written examination, document verification, and an interview. The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹40,000 to ₹1,40,000. The written examination will be conducted at designated centers in Delhi/Gurugram, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Guwahati, and Bhubaneswar.
While filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is ₹600 for General/OBC candidates and ₹300 for SC/ST/EWS/PWD candidates.
