New Delhi, February 18: Senior BJP leader RP Singh has asserted that a significant change is imminent in West Bengal ahead of the upcoming assembly elections. He claims that the departure of Mamata Banerjee‘s government is assured.

Singh stated that this time, transformation is on the horizon for Bengal. As part of this initiative, the party has planned a “Parivartan Yatra” (Change Journey) across all 294 constituencies. He emphasized that it is certain that a change is occurring in Bengal, leading to the end of Mamata Banerjee‘s administration.

Regarding the controversy surrounding the film “Kerala Story-2,” Singh remarked that it reveals a harsh reality about how love jihad is being used to change religions and exploit young girls for political agendas. He believes that the film is shedding light on these issues, which is why it faces opposition, but the truth remains undeniable.

Commenting on Rahul Gandhi‘s statements about the AI summit, Singh accused him of consistently spreading falsehoods. He suggested that Gandhi attempts to raise questions within society and challenge the Election Commission in Bihar, but the people have rejected him. He noted that under PM Modi’s leadership, a significant summit is taking place, drawing global attention to India, while the opposition leader seems troubled by it.

On the BSP’s decision to contest the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections independently, Singh acknowledged that Mayawati’s party has made its own choice. He pointed out that she has previously contested elections alone, indicating this is not a new occurrence.

Criticizing the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDI Alliance), Singh stated that it only lasted until the Lok Sabha elections and has since become merely a name. He claimed that the Congress party is not receiving any support from major regional parties within this alliance, which he believes has now fallen apart.

Addressing the Ajit Pawar issue, Singh mentioned that if the government feels a CBI investigation is warranted, it will be conducted.

On the Maharashtra government’s decision to abolish 5% reservation for Muslims, Singh asserted that there is no quota for reservations based on religion, a principle that has always been upheld.

In response to the Telangana government’s special concessions for Muslim government employees during Ramadan, Singh suggested that the Congress should align itself with the Muslim League. He pointed out that Hindu festivals do not receive similar holidays or concessions.
