CERC Recruitment 2026: Job Openings for Multiple Positions, Including Joint Chief

New Delhi, September 5 (Daily Kiran) : The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) has issued an official notification inviting applications for 17 vacant positions on a deputation or short-term contract basis. The announcement was made on September 5, 2026, through their official website.

Among the positions available are one Joint Chief (Finance), one Deputy Chief (RA), one Assistant Secretary (FOR), one Assistant Chief (ECO), one Assistant Chief (Engineering), one Assistant Chief (Finance), one Salary and Accounts Officer, one Senior Accounts Officer, four Private Secretaries, and five Assistants.

The application process is currently open and will remain so until October 18, 2026. Candidates interested in these roles are advised to complete their registration before the deadline.

Candidates should possess relevant qualifications, including an MBA or CA/CMA in Finance from a recognized institution, a postgraduate degree in Econometrics with a specialization in Economics, a PG Diploma alongside a Bachelor’s degree, or a degree in Engineering. The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 56 years, calculated as of the application submission deadline. Selection will be based on the review of applications, shortlisting, interviews, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹35,400 to ₹2,15,900, along with additional benefits and allowances.
