Focusing on agriculture and the rural economy, Chaudhary said the budget’s provisions to increase farmers’ income and strengthen fisheries and animal husbandry will boost rural development. Giving global recognition to agriculture-based products like coconut, cashew, and cocoa will further empower the rural economy.
Regarding the AYUSH sector, he mentioned the establishment of three new All India Ayurveda Institutes, upgrading of AYUSH pharmacy and drug testing laboratories, and strengthening of the WHO Global Centre for Traditional Medicine in Jamnagar, which will give Ayurveda a new identity.
Chaudhary said the Bio-Pharma Power Plan aims to make India a global bio-pharma manufacturing hub in line with the goal of a self-reliant India. Increased investment of Rs 40,000 crore under the India Semiconductor Mission 2.0 and the Electronic Component Manufacturing Scheme will enhance technological self-reliance.
He concluded that the budget not only addresses current challenges but also lays a strong economic foundation for the years ahead. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, it will prove decisive in making India self-reliant, strong, and prosperous.
