New Delhi, June 2: BJP Rajya Sabha MP Sikandar Kumar has expressed his gratitude to the people of Himachal Pradesh following the recent Panchayat election results. In an interview, Kumar stated that over 80 percent of BJP candidates emerged victorious in the elections. He noted that both the President of the Himachal Pradesh Congress and the Chief Minister faced defeat in their home constituencies.
Kumar remarked that when the Chief Minister assumed office, he claimed to have won by defeating 97 percent of Hindus. Ironically, those same 97 percent Hindus have now helped secure victories in the Panchayati Raj institutions against him in his own area.
Regarding a meeting scheduled for today, Kumar mentioned that various departments would be convening. He also commented on Digvijay Singh’s praise for Prime Minister Modi, suggesting that while Congress leaders acknowledge Modi’s capabilities, they hesitate to openly admit it. Kumar emphasized that Modi has positioned India alongside developed nations.
On the CBSE issue, he acknowledged that technical problems often arise when new systems are implemented. He mentioned that discussions were held to address these issues, urging the relevant departments to prepare thoroughly to avoid confusion and misinformation in the future.
In a positive development for millions of CBSE students, the Central Board of Secondary Education has officially announced that the verification and re-evaluation portal is now live, providing relief for those dissatisfied with their board results and awaiting re-checking.
