Orchha, August 31: Hemant Khandelwal, the president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Madhya Pradesh, emphasized the party’s commitment to transforming the state into a developed, prosperous, and self-reliant region. Speaking at a press conference following the conclusion of the BJP’s state working committee meeting in the religious town of Orchha, Khandelwal stated that party workers would mobilize their full strength to achieve this goal.
He highlighted that the working committee resolved to strengthen the BJP organization down to the booth level, ensuring that initiatives focused on service, good governance, social harmony, and development reach every citizen. Khandelwal reiterated the party’s dedication to these principles, stating, “We came here to take new directions and make new resolutions, and we will continue to advance on these fronts.”
The meeting also involved discussions on enhancing the BJP’s organizational strength and ideology. Various sectors, including youth, women, farmers, and tribal communities, were addressed, alongside deliberations on industries and employment issues in the state.
Khandelwal noted that decisions were made to promote service, good governance, and social harmony, all aimed at making Madhya Pradesh a developed state. A political resolution was also passed during the meeting, focusing on strengthening the organization, disseminating government welfare schemes, and fostering social harmony to realize the vision of a developed India and Madhya Pradesh.
The discussions included significant topics such as the “Resolution for Harmony” and “Developed India 2047.” Khandelwal emphasized that the core principles of the BJP are service, organization, and social harmony. He announced a commitment to spreading the message of equality, brotherhood, and harmony through the “Samarasta Sankalp Abhiyan,” launched on the occasion of the 650th birth anniversary of Saint Ravidas.
Khandelwal called on party workers to honor Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public service by promoting his initiatives on service, good governance, self-reliance, and nation-building. An extensive campaign will run from September 17 to October 18, during which various service activities will be conducted.
Additionally, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav presented an overview of the BJP government’s achievements over the past two and a half years. He announced that 2026 would be celebrated as the “Year of Farmer Welfare,” with a focus on increasing farmers’ income, irrigation, electricity, and agricultural production. The upcoming year will also be dedicated to women’s empowerment.
Yadav provided insights into government initiatives, including the Ladli Behna scheme, farmer welfare, education, medical colleges, employment, industrial development, water conservation, roads, tourism, and infrastructure projects.
