BJP Spokesperson Prem Shukla Comments on Energy Conservation and Political Issues

New Delhi, May 15: BJP spokesperson Prem Shukla has responded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal for energy conservation and the decision by leaders to reduce the number of vehicles in their convoys. He emphasized that the Prime Minister leads by example, and his message is resonating with leaders and party workers across the nation. Shukla also criticized Congress and the opposition regarding the hijab controversy, Sanatan Dharma, and the political situation in Kerala.

In light of the Prime Minister’s call for energy conservation, Shukla noted that his convoy now consists of only two vehicles. This simplicity has prompted various state chief ministers to follow suit. Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is now traveling by bike, while Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has reduced the number of vehicles in his convoy. Home Minister Amit Shah and several other ministers have also adhered to this initiative.

Shukla stated that the Indian public, along with BJP workers and officials, are embracing the Prime Minister’s message.

Regarding the Karnataka government’s decision related to the hijab, Shukla questioned how the hijab could be compared to the kalava. He argued that if the practice of purdah is deemed a social evil, then the hijab cannot be considered a good practice.

He criticized the Karnataka Congress government, asserting that equating the hijab with kalava exposes the flaws in their secularism.

On the topic of Sanatan Dharma, Shukla remarked that Udhayanidhi Stalin’s statements have led to the downfall of his government. He claimed that despite this, Stalin’s family shows no signs of improvement. Those who have vowed to eradicate Sanatan Dharma have long been laid to rest. Shukla confidently stated that Stalin will not be able to eliminate Sanatan; rather, he will face his own demise.

In discussing the upcoming Chief Minister elections in Kerala, Shukla took aim at Congress and Rahul Gandhi. He pointed out that Gandhi is unable to appoint a Chief Minister of his choice. While he claims to lead the alliance, there is no substance to his claims. Shukla noted that even K.C. Venugopal had to bow to Gandhi and could not secure the Chief Minister position.
