BJP MPs Criticize INDIA Alliance, Claim Fear of Modi Among Opposition

New Delhi, June 8: BJP MPs have expressed strong reactions regarding the upcoming meeting of the ‘INDIA’ alliance scheduled in Delhi. They assert that the name ‘Modi’ instills fear in the minds of opposition parties, compelling them to meet repeatedly.

BJP MP Dinesh Sharma stated, “The public has pushed the coalition to the back foot and rejected them. The DMK previously labeled Congress as deceitful. Similarly, after contesting elections in alliance with the Samajwadi Party and facing defeat, their leaders also branded Congress as untrustworthy. This is not my claim; they have said this about each other, yet interestingly, they unite later.”

He further added, “The opposition suffers from ‘Modi phobia.’ The fear of the name ‘Modi’ has taken root in their minds. To overcome this, these parties need to meet frequently. They gather, lament their losses, and then hurl insults at one another. Hence, the INDIA alliance was never a true coalition, nor will it sustain in the future.”

BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal labeled the ‘INDIA’ alliance as a coalition of opportunism. He remarked, “The INDIA alliance is not a coalition but a gathering of opportunists. The entire opposition is disheartened due to repeated electoral defeats. They are trying to unite as a group of disappointed individuals. This is not a coalition, as all parties should work together. Here, each party operates independently.”

Meanwhile, BJP MP Rahul Sinha pointed out that no political party will align with Congress within the INDIA alliance. He stated, “Congress believes the entire opposition will unite, but no one will stand with them. Congress is the biggest obstacle for the country, and thus the people of India have completely rejected them.”

Rajya Sabha MP Ghulam Ali Khatana commented, “The INDIA alliance is a broken ship. Congress has failed to address national issues and is merely engaging in theatrics.”
