New Delhi, September 5 (Daily Kiran) : BJP Member of Parliament Dharmshila Gupta has launched a scathing attack on the Congress party and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi following recent incidents involving Congress MLA Ramya Haridas and the demolition of a mosque in Saharanpur. Gupta stated that Congress is a party that is anti-women, highlighting that even its female legislators are not safe.
Gupta remarked, “It is clear that Congress is anti-women. Their own female MLA is not safe, which indicates a lack of policy, principles, or decorum within the party.” She accused Congress of having no coherent strategy, as evidenced by the attack on Haridas by party workers.
The BJP MP contrasted the situation with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to women’s empowerment, asserting that he respects women’s strength and is working towards their self-reliance. In stark contrast, she criticized Rahul Gandhi for allegedly allowing violence against his own party leaders.
Regarding the mosque demolition in Saharanpur, Gupta defended the legality of the action, stating that it was a court decision, not a government one. She called out Owaisi for engaging in vote bank politics, claiming he disrespects Hindu sentiments by criticizing the Ram Temple issue. “Owaisi is only concerned about his votes and tries to defame the government,” she said.
Gupta also addressed Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s recent comments, suggesting that Reddy is panicking over potential political losses. “If he had done good work in his government, he would not be afraid,” she added, urging him to focus on governance rather than blaming the system for his party’s failures.
